GIA is thrilled to share that the official website for the 2024 Annual Conference in Detroit, Michigan is now open. The conference will kick off on Tuesday, October 15 at 4:00 PM ET with the opening general session, and end on Friday, October 18 at 12:15 PM ET. Funders can experience 30-minute “Turbo Talks” and 60-minute “Road Trips” exploring specific funding scenarios and strategies, innovative site visits, plenty of networking time, and other activities.

The 2024 Annual Conference will facilitate meaningful connections with the goals of:
•    Influencing policies and leveraging funding at the many intersections between aging and other critical funding areas, including economic security, health, disability, race, gender, and community-building.
•    Scaling up collaborations and co-investments. 
•    Building Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) into all our funding strategies and operations to advance more equitable philanthropic practice.
•    Growing our skillsets as funders and partners
