Highlights from our 2024 Annual Conference
GIA Members and prospective members gathered for our 2024 Annual Conference in Detroit, Michigan October 15-18 to network and explore opportunities for influencing policies and leveraging funding at the intersections of aging and other critical funding areas. Here are some highlights from the event:
We launched our new publication Better with Age: A Guide to Funding in a Longevity Society to help funders identify the intersections of aging and other funding priorities and to provide an introductory overview of the aging landscape.
We recognized Cambia Health Foundation with the John Feather Equity in Aging Philanthropy Award which honors funders working to create a more equitable philanthropic sector through their operations, programs, investments, and grantmaking.
Our members left feeling energized, inspired and ready to collaborate. Thank you to all of our sponsors and everyone who joined us in Motor City!
