GIA welcomes two new members to our Board of Directors. Josh Hodges, Chief Customer Officer with the National Council on Aging (NCOA), and Livia Lam, Program Officer with the Ford Foundation.
Josh leads NCOA’s programs focused on older adults, overseeing a portfolio of more than two dozen national aging programs. He has successfully led efforts to secure more than $300 million in grant awards and manages nearly $90 million granted to NCOA’ s local partners. Prior to joining NCOA, Josh worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Community Living (ACL) where he was Acting Deputy Administrator of the Center for Integrated Programs.
Livia is a part of the Future of Work(ers) team at the Ford Foundation. She leads the policy portfolio, which aims to support new policies and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels that increasingly protect worker rights and advance social protections. Livia brings over two decades of experience developing and shaping economic policies to successful implementation. She has served more than 10 years in Congress as a legislative director and senior labor policy advisor and has led government affairs in the private and public sectors.
